Taking the energy-saving operation practice of the Jiading Branch of Shanghai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital as a case study, this paper performs the design and equipment selection of VRF air conditioning systems from a whole life cycle perspective. On the basis of the energy consumption data collected during the hospital’s one-year operation period,a comparative analysis is conducted between the actual data and simulation results, followed by the proposal of targeted optimization strategies.Furthermore, this paper explores feasible approaches to achieving further energy saving and carbon reduction in the system’s subsequent operation.
